Terms & Conditions
Last updated 29 July 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and the quotes and bookings you make through it with Polarity Electrics Ltd. Please read them before requesting a quote.
About us
This site is operated by Polarity Electrics Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12345678), registered office 128 Voltage Row, Shoreditch, London EC2A 4PT. Our VAT number is GB 123 4567 89. You can reach us at hello@polarityelectrics.co.uk or 0203 908 4790.
Quotes and pricing
Prices shown on this website and generated by the quote wizard are estimates based on the information you provide and standard job conditions. They are not a binding offer. A firm price is confirmed by us in writing after we have reviewed your requirements, and remains valid for 30 days unless we tell you otherwise.
All prices include VAT where applicable. Additional work discovered on site — for example faults uncovered during an inspection — will be quoted separately and only carried out with your agreement.
Booking and cancellations
A booking is formed only once we confirm your appointment. If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you expressly ask us to start during that period, you must pay a proportionate amount for work supplied before cancellation. The right to cancel is lost once the service is fully performed only where you requested early performance and acknowledged that consequence. Emergency repair requests may therefore begin before the cancellation period ends.
Our work and your rights
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and current BS 7671 wiring regulations. Notifiable work is certified under Part P of the Building Regulations, and relevant certificates are issued on completion. Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Guarantee
Workmanship is covered by a 12-month guarantee from completion. The guarantee does not cover faults caused by misuse, third-party alterations, or pre-existing wiring outside the scope of the work we carried out.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable or that arise from information you gave us that was inaccurate or incomplete.
Complaints
Contact us first by email or telephone with your booking reference and the outcome you seek. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 days. This does not affect your right to seek independent advice or use any applicable consumer dispute-resolution service.
Website use
You agree to provide accurate information when using the quote and callback tools and not to misuse the site. We may update or withdraw features at any time. All content, branding and design on this site are our property or licensed to us; see the copyright notice in the footer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts covering the part of the UK where you live. Nothing in this section removes protections that apply under mandatory consumer law.
